TSN now owns the Hockey Night in Canada theme song! Yesterday the CBC took a stupid pill with it's morning coffee and let the national tv anthem go. Mike's top five real reasons why the CBC gave up the Hockey Night in Canada theme song.#5. The execs at CBC really like that Brian Melo song "All I Ever Wanted".
#4. They're projecting a rise in the popularity of Anne of Green Gables next winter and they want to concentrate more on that.
#3. It doesn't really fit with the new name for CBC hockey coverage - “Hockey Night in Toronto”.
#2. They decided to spend all their money on a piece for Peter Mansbridge.
#1. Those guys on the Antiques Road Show said it wasn't worth anything!!
