I was born in Saskatchewan, in the small fishing village of Cow Lick. One of my most fond memories, growing up on the shores of Hudson Bay, was waiting for the whalers to make their way into port, while listening to the Flin Flon Bombers hockey broadcasts on the AM radio. Since those early days on the frozen tundra I have loved the sound of a crackling radio broadcast. I hope one day to buy a second hand AM transmitter and spend my golden years replaying my favourite hockey broadcasts and England Dan and John Ford Coley songs.

I have written three joke books (with the help of Sterling Publishing) and several hundred Top Five Lists for the radio. My Top Five lists have been around on the radio since the early 80’s (CKCK Regina, CKPG and The River). Most of this content will only be funny to radio listeners (actually, that is a stretch), but feel free to comment on anything you see posted here.
